Finding the best swimsuits and gear for summertime

Nursing-friendly swimsuits and cover-ups

It’s hard to believe summer is around the corner when it feels like the 47th day of April, but despite the coronavirus pandemic a girl can’t help but hope for summer and those long days in the sun playing by the water, even if that means investing in a backyard pool this year!

Trying on swimsuits in early spring is never our idea of fun and right now it’s impossible to go shopping in our favorite shops anyway. So we’ve done you a favor and rounded up our favorite swimsuits and cover-ups to purchase online and try on at home. The bonus is that all of our picks are nursing friendly because you deserve to rock your mom bod in confidence. Score! So whip up a margarita and let the try on sesh begin!

J.Crew

jcrew swimsuitWe love J. Crew for their classic, timeless styles. The side ruching on this one-piece makes for a flattering fit. In a world of cheeky bottoms, we appreciate the adequate booty coverage too.

Available on J.Crew.com

Cupshe

cupsheAnother brand we are digging is Cupshe. If you haven’t tried their high waisted bottoms then you are missing out! We found this one-piece that has a few cute color options and the shirring design will compliment any body shape. At $24.99 you really can’t go wrong.

Available on Cupshe.com

Raising Wild

raising wildWe have recently been turned on to the company Raising Wild and we’re obsessed. Not only are their swimsuits ADORABLE, but this company is owned by two sisters here in the USA. We’re loving the warm vibe of these color combos.

Movemama

movemamaIf you prefer a swimsuit that is most definitely made for nursing, then this is your gal. It has clips similar to a traditional nursing bra and generous booty coverage.

Aerie

American EagleWhen you are breastfeeding in a swimsuit a cover-up can be super handy, not only for keeping yourself covered, but also shielding your baby’s face from the sun. They tend to prefer to drink in the shade. Don’t we all? This simple kimono from Aerie in the coral sun print is fun and super versatile!

Available on AE.com

ASOS

asosLast but not least is this tie-waist kimono from ASOS. It’s breezy and lightweight, exactly what you want in the heat of summer.
